ONE C segment vanthe world’s first 100% electric can comfortably accommodate five people and has 27 storage compartments.

The host screen called MG iSMART Lite is equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen and includes the satellite navigation system as well as the DAB + digital radio and connectivity with the smartphone app with which you can manage and control the vehicle remotely. Full compatibility with systems is also expected Apple Car Play AND Android Auto.
An absolute novelty for an electric car in this market segment is the availability of technology V2L (acronym for Cargo vehicle) that allows the car to recharge, up to a maximum power of 2200W, an external device, from an e-bike or electric scooter to aelectric car.
MG5 Electric: motors, batteries and autonomy
The new electric van is available with two battery levels:
- Standard Range of 50.3 kWh for a range of up to 320 km in the WLTP cycle, 177 horsepower engine, maximum torque of 280 Nm;
- Long range: up to 400 km of autonomy, 156 horsepower engine, maximum torque of 280 Nm, 61.1 kWh battery.
Both versions reach a maximum speed of 185 km/h and can be recharged via AC outlet up to 11 kWwith any 87 kW DC fast chargingin this case it takes about 40 minutes to reach a battery charge level equal to 80% of maximum capacity.
